Purchase Spend Analysis
Gary Amos from Salford City
Council is leading a small group looking at Purchase Spend Analysis. The group
will consider the various options available to the North West, and recommend a
suitable approach. The results of this work will be available by early October.

EU Procurement Directive
The North
West Centre of Excellence are considering holding an event regarding the new EU
Procurement Directive, which would include, amongst other things, expert
speakers and a question and answer session. This is something that has been
suggested at several Workstream meetings.

Audit of existing collaborations
The first draft of
information leading from the audit being undertaken by Sarah Bellis-Jones is now
available and can be viewed by following this link -

This is a first draft, and it is a dynamic resource, which will reflect the
progress of the collaborations. Lead authorities are asked to keep us informed
of changes and developments. Please check for completeness.
